A pale woman knelling before an altar made of simple stones. The woman sat completely motionless, her wavy hair that fades from dark to light spread over her like the breeze visible to the eye. A solitary hair brushed the cheek of the the woman, who did not move at it's touch. The only true sign that this pale being was in fact a living breathing person was the fact that her mouth was shaping words that could not be heard except by those with keen ears.
The woman's eyes were closed, their color an absolute mystery to any who had not already seen them. The woman wore a simple dress that was green and light brown, a darker shade then that present in her hair. It was mostly hidden by the maiden's hair, a protective curtain from prying eyes.
Lyatria, is her name, a name that means wolf dancer in a language that her great ancestors once spoke. The name fit her for even when she sat motionless, it seemed as if she were dancing.
Lyatria's mouth stopped it's motions and she sat truly still for a time before she opened her eyes. They appeared to be reddish brown in this light. Her eyes glided over her surroundings as a voice resounded in her head, warning her of something's approach. Lyatria kept her eyes trained on the woods around her.
"Who is there?" Her voice resounded around her with strength in each syllable and she waited for the answer.
Tentatively Elrohir remained in a low position as he pursued to keep fixated eyes on the personage that was of little distance from him. The wolf managed to suppress any sound; although, he was more than confident with pouncing into the clearing to confront the figure. Pulling back his ears, Elrohir's amber eyes narrowed greatly and his tail could be seen pointed straight out, parallel to the ground. He crouched forward ever so tardily, keeping extreme attention and focus on the abrupt target he had previously caught scent from and was in search of.
His quick-witted senses had been perceiving a close association of a pack member who supposedly appeased to be his leader; however, it was always wise to be inevitably sure. With a slight occurring movement, he began to perform and proceed forward. It was not too long until the wolf had suddenly came to a halt after hearing those jarring words emanate from the unidentified creature's mouth.
"Who is there?"
Elrohir stood upright feeling self-assured after confirming his ascertaining thoughts. His tail fairly sticking upright yet, not in a full show of complete dominance. His ears became erect and forward and his hackles were no longer bristled, being in a remarkably conspicuous state. One ear twitched in another direction to a relatively unimportant noise before both ears became drawn back; a firm act of submission.
The male prudently made way over to the beautiful lady that was currently kneeling before what looked to be an elevated structure. Elrohir was perpendicular concerning humans; however, he was absolutely familiar with this young maiden. Lateral outgrowth of plants and leaves upon the ground would softly issue slight crunching sounds from beneath his paws as he trotted at an efficiently capable pace to his alphaess.
The goal of my life is to seek out that which brings EUPHORIA
Lyatria lowered her hands as the wolf came into view. Her wolf went off alert the moment recognition hit them both. This was the beta male of the pack. Lyatria knew that this wolf had no human form but she enjoyed his presence even though he would not truly speak back to her. The maiden paid close attention to the wolf's display of submission.
Lyatria let a smile play across her lips. She stood and stepped purposefully to the wolf before her. The young woman placed her hand gingerly on the wolf's head and rubbed behind the wolf's ears. She liked showing affection to her wolven brethren, even when she let her other self take over. Being close to a pack mate always made her itch for a run. Even now, she felt her other self tug on her conscious wanting desperately to be reunited with her beta as a wolf.
Lyatria stepped back from the beta and allowed her other self to take over. Lyatria felt a warmth that seemed to start in her chest and spread through her body. She let herself be engulfed in that warmth and the change took hold. One moment she was a delicate looking young woman and the next she was a strong powerful wolf. She held her black-speckled tail high and her pale blue eyes were bright with excitement. The white fae approached her beta with a wag of her tail.
"And what brings you out here?" Lyatria's bond wolf said in the tongue of wolves. She didn't ask in malice but in curiosity and friendliness. She enjoyed having the beta around and wanted nothing more then to have a good relationship with him and it was an opinion both forms of her wanted.
Elrohir raised his head upwards, his amber gaze meeting with the other's piercing blue orbs. The male's ears laid flat and subsequently would occasionally perk up before drawing back down again. His tail hung low as the apprehension had clearly faded and his state was now of a relaxed one; after all there was no tension or strain within the atmosphere.
Presenting the alphaess and accompanying her with a lick to the muzzle, Elrohir regained his composure and swept up to full height. With no vague he attempted to keep a watchful eye and solid ear, glancing around every now and then while observing attentively to the surroundings. Elrohir continued to examine the area but made sure that the majority of his attention was pertained to the wolf of authority who was placed right in front of him.
"I had been patrolling the borders of the packlands as you had desired, m'lady." The male informed, his nares noticably picking up the various amount scents within the area in quite an asensitive manner.

Lyatria recalled sending him on patrol but it had slipped her mind until this point. It was only natural that this area would be patrolled as well. Though uninvited guest were rare, precaution had to be made. Better safe then sorry, as she had heard.
Her wolf bumped the shoulder of her beta playfully. "That's why I have you as Beta, who else would stick to their orders like you?" She wagged her tail once but kept it at a high enough height to show her dominance. She didn't feel the need to remind the Beta of his place but she had to keep with the code.
She stepped meaningfully back the way Elrohir had appeared from. She took a few graceful steps before turning her pale blue orbs back on her Beta. "I think I'll join you on patrol. I've had enough sitting still in prayer for one day." This last statement was entirely her Bond Wolf. Lyatria, the human part, could spend all day at this quiet sanctuary. No tribe people came here except to get water which was pretty rare. Her Wolf, however, couldn't stand being in one place for too long. But regardless of their difference in motion, they both enjoyed running through HER territory.
She turned back towards the wood without waiting for his reply. The white wolf stepped with meaning in each step, keeping an ear up and eyes alert.
