Courage is not being fearless. It's conquering your fears to do something.

The lush growth closed in around them as they progressed forward to the pack dens. Rays of light beamed through the opening of the trees. Kiave's movements were light and swift. A series of scents infiltrated his nasals as advanced upon the pack dens. Each aura familiar and comforting. Cupping his hands by his mouth he let out a playful howl. Emitting from his human form it sounded feeble, but Kiave displayed no interest of it. Only then did he let himself go. He sprinted into his den and stripped himself of his clothing. He shifted into a wolf and easily padded out. His pink tongue lolled from his parted maw.
OOC - Sorry it's so short xD. Writer's Block.

Suko followed Kiave to the entrance of the den then stopped when he howled. As he ran inside, she flopped down on her left side and settled her leg at a comfortable angle. It had been a wile since she had rested and her leg was starting to ache horribly. She watched as Kiave came back out, tongue out of mouth. This side of him was different from what she saw when she met him and she wasn't sure how to react. Her stomach growled and reminded her that she had not only forgotten resting, but hasn't eaten a thing for a while. OOC-I worked late yesterday then whent to bed so i didn't have the chance to post earlier. Im heading to my dads so i wont post again till sometime late on sunday when i get back. That should give you time to get over writers block as well .

Kiave's auds perked at a rumble. He glanced over at Suko."Hungry?" He questioned. He didn't need to wait for her answer. It was quite obvious that she was. "Let us hunt."
He turned and padded off, glancing back once to assure that she had followed.
OOC - I'm sorry it's so short. I'm kinda doing something at the moment.

Suko fallowed Kiave as he padded back into the forest for prey. Menboku had settled down into a silence that usually meant he was snoozing which is rare around another wolf. This was interrupted when he spoke. "I'm not snoozing, just resting my brain in case this wolf decides he doesn't like the way you hunt and turns on us." Well, so much for thinking he had accepted Kiave. He seemed to have a gentle spark in his heart but she knew for certain that the brute attitude was not for show, it was who he is and she didn't want to cross him the wrong way. But for some reason, she was drawn to this wolf. It was an emotion she didn't understand and Menboku didn't know either so let the topic lie and set their senses out into the surrounding forest. After walking a ways Suko twirled her ears forward, she heard life hoof beats and the sound of munching. Slinking into a crouch she inched forward, always a little behind Kiave's shoulder as she should be. Their through the shrubbery she spotted some doe's foraging on the forest floor. A little ways off, the buck with his splendid crown of horns was keeping watch in the opposite direction. Suko felt the wind rustle her fur. They had managed to come up on them from downwind so the deer had no idea they where there. Suko watched Kiave waiting for instructions on how he wished to hunt them.

Suko, please try to keep the spelling correct and please refer to Menboku as a she. It's a bit confusing for me. >.<
Kiave could sense Suko's presence behind him. He glanced at her briefly and cast her a reassuring smile. As alpha he could sense the uneasiness of her spirit wolf. You are now part of the pack. As alpha it is my duty to look after you as well as lead you. If you don't trust me to do my duty how can I trust you to be one of us? He thought towards her, opening his mind briefly allowing her to hear those thoughts.
After they passed he shut his mind away from her and turned his attention back to the doe. He'd come across her scent on the way to the dens so he was easily able to track it down. The buck, who sported a pretty decent pair of antlers, was about fifteen feet from her. He stood proudly watching over his doe, his head raised higher then any other deer. It was no doubt that he was the herd leader. And there was no doubt that he wouldn't hesitate to attack. Kiave eased into a crouching position. His optics never leaving the buck. "We have to go about this carefully, Suko. There's only two of us and we can't afford to let him get near us. It'd be our downfall." Though Kiave had a big ego and was overly confident at times, he wasn't stupid, fortunately. He knew that the male would tear them in half if he got close enough. It was times like these that Kiave really longed for a whole pack. It'd be so much easier if there were at least three more wolves here hunting as well.

Suko listened to Kiave as he cautioned her to avoid the buck. She added up the odds in her head of getting the doe without getting hit by the buck and decided it wasn't good. "We know of a plan Suko." reminded Menboku. She sighed as she remembered. It was a risky one, but one she used twice before with her father that was successful. Suko glanced at Kiave. She was going to use it and he was going to think she was reckless and crazy but they where both going to get a meal out of it. Gathering her courage, she told Kiave, "Count to three after i leave the bushes and take down the doe. Don't look for me or come after me until then." then broke cover and, disregarding all decency, shifted to human, heading strait for the buck. The plan was simple, either scare the buck away in this form or use her hands to grab his horns and hold him until the doe went down, then drive him away. The plan worked the latter way. Seeing his doe in danger, the buck charged horns down. Using all of her instinct and power, Suko grabbed at the main branch of the horns and slowed him down, rocks and soil giving under the pressure, then stopping. As the movement stopped the buck tried to lift his head and Suko put her weight down until his nose was on the ground. He couldn't kick or bite her in this stance leaving Suko safe from injury. Now that the hard part was over, Suko's thoughts drifted on whether or not Kiave had listened and taken the doe before it fled.
