Suko walked through the grass in her wolf form, keeping a close watch on Menboku so that he doesn't start running and aggravate her injury. So far he has been playing by the rules she set just so he could take over but he was still chomping at the bit to stretch their legs to the fullest and race the wind. She wasn't having it though as the injury from her Avalon pack encounter had just healed up and was still sore to use, so he he contented with a walk that had a slight limp to it. "Should we hunt?" Suko thought about it and replied, "Lets wait, I believe we are on shadow territory and I don't want to infuriate the local alpha by hunting without permission." Menboku stopped walking and huffed at that. "Never stopped us before. Why care what the local alpha thinks now?" Suko sighed and took control making him go to the back as she replied, "Because I want to join this alphas pack and hunting without permission is a good way to get us killed without the chance to explain that we want to join him."
The conversation ended there as her arguments rang true and he subsided to grumbling about it and they walked farther without talking. Then Menboku sensed danger. "Suko, heads up, we have company to the south of us. Male by the scent, and coming this way." Suko turned so their body was facing the direction of the incoming wolf, holding a submissive position in case it was the alpha she was looking for.

Kiave, in his wolf form, strutted purposefully along the Shadow boarders. His auds cocked forward and his nasals flared. Liquid emerald orbs scrutinizing the terra. Coming along a tree he leaned near and took in the scent. It was beginning to fade. Lifting his rear leg he sprayed the lower trunk of the tree before padding off again. He repeated this routine in several areas along the way.
He came to a sudden halt and his entire bodice tensed. Snap He snapped his eyes to the left. Off several meters stood a young doe with its back turned. Very careless. Kiave thought as he crouched. He crept forward each paw before the other. Auds flattened against his skull he held his tail out so it was completely lined up with his straight vertebrae. Closer.. Closer.. The doe tensed and her head snapped up. Kiave froze and held his breath. She had caught his scent. The frightened doe took off into a frantic run. Kiave snarled with frustration before bolting after the doe. Must.. Get.. Doe.. he thought. The human part of Kiave didn't necessarily care whether the doe was caught or not and that aggravated Brother Wolf. At the moment he was in control not Kiave's human part. Brother Wolf wanted to hunt that doe and taste its blood. He thrived off of the challenge of it. Kiave increased in his pace. He could still scent out the doe. He flew through the forest. Startled he came to a halt. He jerked his head in each direction surveying the area. So many scents bombarded him. He was getting uncomfortably close to the deer herd. With his pack he wouldn't mind, but alone he would be an easy target for the bucks of the herd. Kiave boiled with irritation as he slowly backed away from them. Once at a safe distance he took off into an easy lope. He had lost his game, but he would make up for it.
As Kiave ambled back to where he'd begun an unknown scent infiltrated him. Immediately and out of pure instinct his pelt bristled and he raised his tassel arching it over his vertebrae, displaying his dominance. By the scent of it the intruder was female.
She shouldn't be much of a hassle. Brother Wolf advised. Kiave chuckled at that and headed toward the fae. It was several moments before she came into his view. He still held his tassel in the dominant position and curiously tipped his massive cranium to the right. He let out a soft growl of question. He did not have to speak. He assumed that the female was smart enough to realize that he was inquiring of her presence on his territory.

Suko was in total control when the strange wolf came into view. Acting on instinct, she rolled over on to her back, tucked her tail between her legs and wagged it slightly. This was a position she only used for her father and showed total submission. She tried to convey with her eyes that she wanted to join his pack, not start a fight.
ooc- sorry about the wait. i have trouble sometimes coming up with ideas and turning them to words.

Kiave stepped forward. His eyes searching the fae as he took in her submissive pose. For some reason her tail wagging irked Brother Wolf, but he kept his silence. She still had much to learn it seemed. He remained his stance as he looked wisely upon her. His emerald pools reflecting his calculating thoughts. After several unsettling moments, he gave a slight dip of his massive cranium showing his acceptance of her submission. He did not move, but remained towering over her, surveying her.
He then realized that she had the desire to be accepted into the pack. He let out a soft sigh. She seemed much to innocent, unexperienced, and.. Well.. Naive. Inside he was at war with himself. Should he accept her in? Brother Wolf's spirit paced about uneasily. One incompetent member in the pack could be its very downfall. All the while Kiave's expression remained totally indifferent. He finally let out a huff of air as he achieved his answer.
He narrowed his eyes onto the femme. "I see that want to join this pack." He finally affirmed. "Come with me." He turned and began to stride away. He did not have to glance back to assure himself that she was following.
OOC - It's quite alright ^^ I have problems with Writer's Block as well, so no worries . I just wasn't for sure if you'd known I posted or not.

After the strange wolf nodded, Suko flipped back over and stood up. His nod said he accepted the pose but their was a feeling of disapproval at her actions and she was puzzled. Her father always made her do that for him when she crossed the line, but this male seemed to frown on it. She stored this information for later.
When he told her to follow him, she had a brief flash of happiness. Was she now part of his pack? She mentally shook herself. He hadn't stated that she was in and he may be leading her somewhere to test her before he decided to let her in or run her off. If this was a test, she hoped that it was a hunting one as that was her specialty, but she could also fight so she didn't let herself worry, for now she would fallow him and do any test he asked her to do to prove her worth.

The sun was just peaking over the horizon, spreading orange and yellow hues along the earth. Everything began to come to life. Birds singing their melodies. Chipmunks scurrying up and down their trees. Every creature seemed to be doing something this morning. Kiave kept his purposeful stride. His cranium held high. This was his kingdom.
Kiave contemplated the fae. He'd never seen this wolf before, but her disposition was strongly familiar. He couldn't quite remember it. Perhaps part of the village. Kiave quickly turned on the fae. Emerald orbs gazing upon her with a new perspective. Yes.. Her aura was quite familiar. He was sure that he'd seen her in the village before. Well, in her human form that is. Kiave raised his chin his eyes lowered on the femme.
"You are a Changer." he stated matter-of-fact.

Suko watched as the sun rose over the horizon, unleashing its beauty and glory over the land and sparking life to start all around them. "I don't like him." stated Menboku inside her head. Suko sighed internally. "You don't like anyone but dad." she commented back. She subsided to grumbling in the back of her mind and she turned her attention back to the male just as he turned and stated the fact she was a changer. "Yes I am. Is their something wrong about that." she retorted, slightly miffed at what sounded like an accusation.

Kiave's orbs narrowed on the fae as she gave a sharp retort. Kiave snarled at her loose tongue. Brother Wolf roared inside of him and Kiave snapped at the femme. "Know your place, fae." he barked. His hackles raised at her ignorance. How dare she snap at him? He had to morph back to human. At the moment he was itching to keep displaying his dominance and if he kept it up he'd end up scaring her off.
Kiave suddenly turned from her and began to pad away with a soft growl. He began to scent the area, his muzzle close to the ground. He was getting closer. Several meters away was a thick bush nestled against a huge tree. Kiave glanced back before sticking his muzzle into it to retrieve a buckskin pair of pants and moccasins. His jaws clamped over the clothing he ducked behind the tree. His transformation back into human form was quick and painless. After pulling on the pants he slid his feet into the moccasins. The wolf inside of him roared to be released, but Kiave ignored it. He stepped from behind the tree and into view. His raven-black hair hanging down his back. His body framed by taut muscle and smoothed over with copper skin. His liquid black eyes giving nothing away. He had to transform into his human form. He had more control over himself that way.

Suko backed up a bit when he snapped at her and Menboku growled to be released and take action, but she held it back. She was trying to win his approval but ended up sounding wrong and he had every right to growl at her. She watched as the strange wolf sniffed the area then stuck his head in a bush and drew out a pair of pants and moccasins. Then went behind a tree. When he came back he was human, and in her opinion, easy on the eyes, though she would never admit it out loud. His transformation brought out a problem for her that she didn't think about, during her encounter with a wolf pack, she had lost her cloths and turning human in front of a strange changer was not very appealing. She looked away, not wanting to meet his eyes and show that she had a problem so she looked at the surrounding forest instead. It was beautiful in the light and alive.
Trying to get to know the person she was with, she asked "We've traveled for a while, but I don't know your name. Mine is Suko."

Kiave was some what relieved that she was a Changer. Then there would be no need to explain things to her. Some true wolves did not usually feel comfortable at first when a Changer explained to them how they were part human. Of course they would. Why wouldn't they? he thought. For this reason it was sometimes hard to get one to join the pack.
Kiave glared at Suko a bit before nodding. It was true. He had not yet introduced himself. Where were his manners? Kiave stepped forward and strode pass her. "Welcome, Suko. I am Kiave. Alpha of the Shadow Pack." he introduced. He glanced back at Suko and realization hit him. He raised a dark brow. "You have no clothes, I take it." he said more of a statement rather then a question.

Suko watched as he walked past her. So his name was Kiave, and she could already tell that he was the leader. His show of dominance when she met him could explain that. At least now she knew both his name and that she had found the shadow pack like her father ordered. She grimaced slightly as he realized her big problem. "I got into a skirmish with a pack on my way here during which I sustained a injury to my back right leg and lost the cloths I had been carrying with me." she admitted to him. She was holding back tears though as that wasn't the only thing she had lost. Her father had also disappeared when he fended them off to give her time to run and she didn't know whether he was dead or alive at this point. The tears were held back successfully though and she hoped he hadn't noticed anything unusual during that brief moment.

Kiave could sense an aura of grief radiating off of Suko. She wasn't very well at hiding her emotions he noted. Kiave's eyes flickered to her rear, right limb for a brief moment. It was bad, but would heal if properly taken care of. Kiave deeply sighed. His heart ached for the fae. "I'm sure whatever has happened to your father, he has fought with honor." he consoled. Kiave, never one to offer much sympathy, sounded stiff as he offered it. "Come with me." he said as he turned and began to walked to wards the dens. "You will need to get that leg nursed. If you are to be part of the pack you will need to be in good health." he gave her a soft smile as he led the way to the dens.

Suko realized that her despair had been communicated to the alpha and she sighed at herself. So much for her training to hide her emotions. She followed after him for a while before what he said sank in. He complemented her father and said that if she was going to be a part of the pack. So far things were starting to look up as it looked like he was going to accept her into his pack. If only her father was with her it would be complete happiness. As it was she wasn't going to hold her head down in grief any longer. Now her new life started and her father would want her to live proud. She walked after the alpha with her head held high. The alpha seemed slightly harsh but she found herself respecting him for it instead of hating him. As it were, her future with the shadow pack looked hopeful if not bright.

Kiave moved swiftly and smoothly through the plains. His movements agile and graceful. Kiave took off into a run. He knew that Suko's instincts as a wolf would kick in and she'd follow after him. He was her alpha and she knew her place. He was pleased of the outcome. She was not difficult to deal with and, with much learning, would be a good asset to the pack. Kiave's hair whipped out behind him and the wind severely attacked him. He did not slow down, though. He felt so bare in his human form. Closer and closer he was coming to the beginning of the forest. He turned and faced Suko. "We are going to the dens." he said. With that he turned and blended into the darkness of the Shadow woods.
OOC - Okay, the next post will be in the 'Pack Dens' board.
