Pack/Tribe:

Personality:
Human:
Lyatria is a strong independent young woman. She walks confidently and stands tall. She can come off as standoffish and aloof but she is actually a truly caring individual who puts her family (both as wolf and human) above herself at all times. She doesn't speak much to anyone she isn't close with. Her main wish is to make her family and friends happy and she will do whatever she must to make this so.
Bond Wolf:
Lyatria's wolf is not too far off from her human form. She is confident in her dominance and stands tall. The differences in the two appear at this point. Her bond wolf is a playful creature who enjoys having her pack around her and some times even appears to act like a pup. She will be strict and lay down the law when it is necessary but when this is done she is laid back and friendly. As long as the pack is around her she feels at peace and as long as they are safe, she is content. Should anything threaten her pack, however, she is swift and deadly to effectively take out whoever or whatever threatens her family.
History:
She was born to a human mother and Changer father. Lyatria grew up as a girl and most thought that she had not inherited her father's gift of change. Her mother, thinking that this was the case, trained her daughter to live in the tribe. She was taught to worship the moon and the night for they were their protectors even in the harshest of times. She spent a lot of her time as a child watching the other kids who would change and join the pack and she couldn't help but wish to be among them.
When she turned 12 years old, the tribe had decided that Lyatria was not destined to be a changeling. On the eve of her 14 birthday, however, she was sitting quietly at an altar dedicated to the moon when her bond wolf first appeared. At first, she had no idea what the strange presence was but when she let it take over she discovered her other half. Her wolf had made it's appearance and it soon joined the pack.
As time progressed, Lyatria's bond wolf grew restless with it's rank in the pack. Her wolf challenged her father for leadership and to all's surprise, Lyatria's wolf came out the victor. Since then her Bond Wolf has been running the pack with a cheerful mood and a sustaining grip. Lyatria herself still hopes to find the other part of her that she will only find when her wolf has chosen her mate.
Appearance:
Human:
Lyatria has an almost mythical appearance to her. Her skin is pale in color and her eyes are a soft light brown that can, in certain light, appear to be a reddish brown. Her hair is wavy and runs down to her lower back. Her hair color has changed since her birth and she has never cut it so the color fades from dark brown to a lighter brown at the tips. When it is tied up, she wears it in a low ponytail or braid down her back. She is 5 feet and 6 inches in height and weighs only 120 lbs. She has a gentle face and an hourglass figure.
Bond Wolf:
Lyatria's wolf is colored like a tundra wolf. She is completely white with only small specks of black that dots under her eyes and the tip of her tail, almost like freckles. Her eyes are a piercing pale blue that in some lights appears almost white in color. She is an average sized tundra wolf that has a build for speed and stamina. Her tail is somewhat longer then usual but it isn't noticeable until examined up close.
Other:
Love the site so I hopped right in. I hope you don't mind.
Role Playing:
Lyatria sat down with her legs under her. Before her was the altar that she had sat in front of so many times before; on nights so much like this one. The moon was not full at this time of month but it still shone brightly down on her and the altar. Her ebony hair blew gently at her back as the night breeze caressed it tenderly. She felt truly at peace here. All the anxiety at not being able to join her wolf family was at rest while she sat here with her dark eyes closed; listening to the night around her.
It was then that she felt an odd sensation in her head. Lyatria was at a loss at what this feeling was. She heard and felt the presence of her other half. It was the half of herself that she had slowly begun to think never existed. She felt tears sting her eyes as the wolf in her seemed to be trying to reassure her. It was like she was saying, "Sorry I'm late." She concentrated on that being inside herself until she could clearly see it in her mind's eye.
Before her was a white wolf with nearly white eyes. She was wagging her tail in greeting, as if Lyatria was an old friend. The wolf's tongue was on the side of her mouth as she took breath after breath, her tail wagging and her eyes eager for acceptance. Lyatria gave it. The wolf perked up even more and ran to Lyatria.
She let her wolf take hold of their body and felt the change as the wolf took over. She felt more free then she had ever been before and she and her wolf ran from the alter, singing a never ending chorus of their joy to the stars and moon above.
